#1 Pale Ale

I spent most of my weekend drinking up the Port Wipeout IPA at Brouwer's. It tasted much better than it ever has out of the bottle, so I stuck with it instead of doing my usual and trying several different beers. As good as it was, it's no Blind Pig or Pliny. Which reminds me...I got some good news about Pliny and bad news about BP. Oh, I also saw a great band play a free show and, thanks to Francesca, put some labels on that homebrew I made back in May (pictured above).

Initially, I was against labels since it seems a bit much for a first beer. But Francesca was really into the idea and she made a cool looking label. I ended up calling the beer #1 Pale Ale since it was the first time I brewed and also because it fermented in a bathroom. The pissing boy seemed to be the perfect image for the bottle.
